Toilet Repair & Installation
Toilet Repair & Installation – Epic Plumbing and Maintenance
The toilet is one of the most-used fixtures in your home—and one of the most frustrating when something goes wrong. A running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons of water a month. A weak flush means repeat plunging. A leak at the base can rot your subfloor and ruin your bathroom.
Whether you need a simple flapper replacement or a brand-new toilet installed, Epic Plumbing and Maintenance handles it all quickly, cleanly, and affordably. We treat your bathroom like it’s our own—boot covers, drop cloths, and a spotless finish every time.
Toilet Repair – We fix what’s broken
Most toilet problems trace back to just a few internal components. We diagnose fast and repair right—often in under an hour.
Common toilet problems we repair:
What a typical toilet repair includes:
- Full diagnosis – we check water supply, fill valve, flapper, flush valve, and wax seal
- Clear explanation of what failed and why
- Repair using premium replacement parts (not bargain-bin components)
- Test flush cycle – multiple times to confirm proper operation
- Leak check – dye test around base and internal seals
- Cleanup – we leave your bathroom spotless
We install all types of toilets:
- Standard two-piece toilets (most common)
- One-piece toilets (sleek, easier to clean)
- Comfort-height (chair height) – ideal for seniors or tall individuals
- Compact/round-front (small spaces, powder rooms)
- Elongated bowls (more comfort, modern look)
- Dual-flush (water-saving – 0.8 gal / 1.6 gal)
- High-efficiency toilets (HET – 1.28 gallons per flush)
- Wall-hung (floating) toilets
- Smart/bidet toilets (heated seat, wash functions)
- Pressure-assisted toilets (commercial-grade flushing power)
Our installation process:
- Remove old toilet – Drain tank and bowl, disconnect supply line, unbolt from floor
- Inspect flange – Check for cracks, rust, or damage (common hidden issue)
- Clean and prep – Remove old wax, clean flange surface, check floor level
- Install new wax ring or gasket – We use extra-thick wax rings or rubber gaskets for a perfect seal
- Set new toilet – Carefully position, secure with bolts, check for wobble
- Connect water supply – New supply line included with every install
- Level and tighten – Shim if needed, final torque on bolts (never over-tightened to crack porcelain)
- Test thoroughly – Flush 5+ times, check for leaks, adjust water level
- Caulk base – Clean bead around front and sides (we leave back uncaulked so future leaks are visible)
- Old toilet disposal – We haul your old toilet away for recycling
Included with every toilet installation:
- ✅ New wax ring or rubber gasket
- ✅ New brass or stainless steel bolts
- ✅ New supply line (braided stainless)
- ✅ New caps/bolt covers
- ✅ Shims if needed for leveling
